Jacobs & Morawska is an art consulting firm that provides private and corporate collectors and investors of art with a comprehensive range of services. Our firm is distinguished by a staff of museum professionals, former curators and directors
This staff is supervised by Joseph Jacobs, who for over 45 years has been involved in the art world as a university professor, museum curator and director, art adviser, scholar, and art critic. His museum exhibitions have won international awards, and his book, Janson’s History of Art, which he co-authored, is perhaps the single most famous art book in the world, often referred to as “The Bible” of art history. His art world contacts are extensive—they include the top specialists at major museums, galleries, auction houses, art fairs, and art magazines, as well as private and corporate collectors and private dealers and consultants.
Kasia Morawska has been involved in the art world for over 25 years, first as an artist and designer, after which she founded an independent, alternative gallery, Unit24, in London. She has also spearheaded major philanthropic projects in Los Angeles and Warsaw. Her art world, business, and financial contacts are extensive. For Jacobs & Morawska she manages client relations and services, which includes overseeing such important client needs as collection insurance, installation, shipping, handling, registration, cataloguing, appraisals and art world lifestyle.
